Tarptautinė plaukimo federacija statusas T sritis Kūno kultūra ir sportas apibrėžtis Tarptautinė sporto organizacija, vienijanti nacionalines plaukimo federacijas, plėtojanti plaukimą, šuolius į vandenį, vandensvydį ir dailųjį plaukimą pasaulyje. Įkurta 1908 m. Londone (Didžioji Britanija). Oficialiosios kalbos – prancūzų ir anglų. Aukščiausiasis organas – kongresas, šaukiamas kas 4 metai. 2000 m. vienijo 208 šalių plaukimo federacijas. santrumpa(-os) FINA atitikmenys: angl. International Swimming Federation vok.
